The Challenge

An office-warehouse condominium association lost its roof during Hurricane Wilma. The challenge was to secure immediate repairs on an emergency basis from a reputable roofing contractor at a time when they were overwhelmed and in high demand.

Our property manager was onsite within hours after the storm had passed and assessed the damage. Due to our advance hurricane preparation and negotiation of rates and services with vendors, within 24 hours our highly trusted roofing contractor had put a temporary roof on the building and our water removal vendor was onsite removing all water and cleaning up the interior spaces. Our property maintenance personnel were onsite running generators, making repairs and cleaning up.



The Outcome

Our quick response limited losses at this property and tenants were back up and running as soon as their spaces were dry and clean. Furthermore, while so many property owners were paying inflated prices for roofing and water extraction services, these condo owners paid pre-negotiated prices and received a guaranteed response.
